Upkeep Committee

• Although recognizing that all Calkins Community Garden members are responsible for the maintenance of the garden area, the Upkeep Committee shall be responsible for the overall coordination effort.

• The Upkeep Committee shall determine dates/times for garden work days, and work with other committees to contact garden members to attend the work days.

• The Upkeep Committee shall be the garden committee responsible for receiving/answering the concerns of garden members about maintenance issues pertaining to the garden.

• The Upkeep Committee shall maintain an inventory of community tools that are on-site for garden members to use.

• The Upkeep Committee shall be responsible for the landscaping within the garden, e.g. mowing the grass, weed control.

• The Upkeep Committee shall be the point of contact for New London community input/concerns pertaining to the maintenance of the garden.
